The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is required under Idaho Law to serve civil processes. This includes but is not limited to subpoenas, writs, Sheriff’s sales, summons, civil protection orders, garnishments and other documents.

Civil papers are usually processed on the next available business day. Attempts for service are based on available staffing. The Oneida County Sheriff cannot guarantee service.
Documents to be served must include a Letter of Instruction (click for a sample Letter of Instruction) and be brought to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office in Malad or mailed to the address listed below.
